Moving Safely Through Your Day Workshop
Have you ever tracked how much movement you do in a day? Not only how many steps you take, or the length of your spin class, but have you noticed how often you get in and out from a chair? Up and down off the ground? Out of bed? All of these activities can nourish and support our bodies, or create challenge and wear- it all depends on how we execute them. During our May workshop, we will get a chance to look at how to improve our safety with our daily movements. Topics will include: driving positioning, sitting ergonomics (with a quick discussion about chair support), rolling over and getting out of bed/ tying shoes with good mechanics, vacuuming/ cleaning with safety.
